Will it fit
- Footprint
- 51.7 x 47.6 x 79 in
- Placement
- Indoor
- Plug-in or 240 V
- Plugs into a 120 V outlet; no 240 V wiring needed.
- Circuit
- 120V / 20A (NEMA 5-20P), as the maker publishes it.The maker specifies a 20 amp circuit, which is the largest a 120 volt supply provides in a home. This heater draws 20.0 amps, so the 125 percent continuous load rule leaves no headroom: it needs a dedicated circuit with nothing else on it. NEC 422 gives the rating marked on a listed appliance authority over the calculation, so ask your electrician to confirm the marked rating before wiring.Check it on the calculator.
Key facts
- Running cost
- About $0.44 per one-hour session: a 2.4 kW heater at the US average residential rate of 18.16 cents per kWh (EIA, August 2026).
